Who is responsible for your personal data?
MAX Burgers AB (company reg. no. 556188–7562) is responsible for how your personal data is processed when you use our WiFi service.
What information do we collect?
When you connect to our WiFi network, we may collect certain technical identifiers, including:
- MAC address – a unique identifier for your device
- IP address – the address used for communication over the network
- Unique Universal Identifier (UUID) – a unique code generated to identify your session
- Client hostname – the name your device uses on the network
We use this information to recognise your device, enable your connection, and ensure a secure and reliable service.
Why do we process your data?
We process your data in order to:
- Provide a safe and stable internet connection
- Prevent misuse of the network
Legal basis
The processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing secure WiFi services.
How long do we store your data?
We store your data for up to 12 months. If necessary to meet legal obligations or handle security incidents, this period may be extended by up to an additional 2 months.
Who has access to your data?
Access to your data is limited to authorised personnel at MAX and our IT service providers. We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law.

You have the right to:

- Request correction or deletion
- Object to the processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
