Born in 1968 in northern Sweden, MAX has grown from a small grill to an international family owned burger chain across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Poland.

We serve great‑tasting burgers made fresh to order – always with quality, care, and sustainability at the core. MAX was the world’s first restaurant chain to climate‑label its entire menu in 2008, and we continue to lead with innovative flavors, plant‑based options, and responsibility built into everything we do.

Since 2006, we’ve also donated 7–10% of our annual net profit to global poverty‑reduction initiatives through the Fair Distribution Foundation.
